ABSTRACT
The incidence of concha bullosa is 13-53% and it remains usually asymptomatic. In this article, we reported a case of giant conchae bullosa in a 46-year-old woman. She presented with a 4-year history of nasal obstruction, headache and postnasal drip. Anterior nasal examination revealed a massive mass which was covered with normal mucosa on right side. Computed tomography of the paranasal sinuses showed a septal deviation and bilateral concha bullosa which was giant at the right side. Septoplasty and bilateral endoscopic partial middle turbinate resection was performed under local anesthesia.
ÖZET
Konka bülloza insidansı %13-53 arasında olup genellikle asemptomatiktir. Bu makalede, 46 yaşındaki kadın hastada dev konka bulloza olgusu sunulmuştur. Hastanın yaklaşık dört yıldır devam eden burun tıkanıklığı, baş ağrısı ve geniz akıntısı şikayetleri vardı. Anterior rinoskopik muayenede sağ nazal pasajda normal mukoza ile kaplı büyük bir kitlesi mevcuttu. Paranazal sinüs bilgisayarlı tomografisinde septum deviasyonu ve sağ tarafta dev boyutlarda olan bilateral konka bülloza izlendi. Lokal anestezi altında septoplasti ve bilateral endoskopik parsiyel orta konka rezeksiyonu uygulandı.
