ABSTRACT
Nose is an important organ with many physiological functions. These functions are mainly maintaining the airway, climatization of the inspired air, olfaction, and resonation of voice. In this article, physiology and functions of the nose are briefly reviewed.

ÖZET
Burun, birçok fizyolojik fonksiyonu içeren bir organdır. Bu fonksiyonları kısaca, havayolunun sağlanması, akciğere giden havanın solunuma uygun hale getirilmesi, koku alma, konuşmaya katkı şeklinde özetlenebilir. Bu makalede burun fizyolojisi kısaca gözden geçirilmiş ve burun fonksiyonları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.
