Tinnitus is described as the sounds percepted without an external stimulant. It is not a specific disease and can occur as a component of different pathologies. This paper presents pulsatile tinnitus in two patients, one of whom has a giant petrous segment aneurysm of the internal carotid artery and the other has an aneurysm of the middle cerebral artery accompanying with fibromuscular dysplasia. The possible reasons of pulsatile tinnitus and treatment methods such as endovascular and surgery are discussed. The patients presenting with sudden onset of tinnitus and rapid progression are in need of prompt radiological evaluation.

Tinnitus, dışarıdan bir ses uyaranı olmadan algılanan seslerdir. Tinnitus özgül bir hastalık olmayıp farklı hastalıkların bir parçası olarak görülebilir. Bu çalışma, internal karotis arterin petröz segment dev anevrizması ve fibromusküler displazi ile beraber orta serebral arter anevrizmasının neden olduğu iki ayrı olguda pulsatil tinnitusu, olası nedenleri ve endovasküler tedavi ile açık cerrahi tedaviyi tartışmaktadır. Özellikle ani gelişen ve giderek artan tinnitus şikayeti ile gelen hastalarda tanı ve tedavi amaçlı ileri radyolojik incelemelerin yapılması gerekir.
