ABSTRACT
Osteogenesis imperfecta and otosclerosis are the entities with similar clinical and histopathological features. However an agreement on the relationship between these pathologies has not been existed. It is purposed to emphasize the similarities or differences between otosclerosis and osteogenesis imperfecta by investigating histopathological features under light microscope with performing special staining methods.

ÖZET
Osteogenesis imperfekta ve otoskleroz benzer klinik ve histopatolojik özelliklere sahip antitelerdir. Ancak bu iki patolojinin birbiri ile ilişkisi konusunda tam bir görüş birliği oluşmamıştır. Bu patolojilerin stapes tabanında oluşturdukları histopatolojik değişiklikler ışık mikroskopisi altında özel boyalarla incelenerek, aradaki benzerlikler ve farklılıkların vurgulanması amaçlanmıştır.
