In this study, erythrocytes lipit peroxidation (LPO), plasma copper (Cu.), zinc (Zn) and ceruloplasmin (Cp) levels are measured. on 20 patients with epidermoid larynx cancer. It is investigated that hether these levels different with respect to stage of disease and normal persons. In patients with arynx cancer that are compared to control group, the level of erythrocytes LPO (p > 0.05) was not changed; the levels of plasma Cu (p < 0.01) and Cp (p < 0.01), and Cu/Zn rate (p < 0.01) were increased; plasma Zn (p < 0.05) level was decreased. The patients are divided into two groups each of consisting 10 patients, and the first group patients are in stage I - II, the second group are in stage III - IV. In the stage I - II compared to control group; erythrocytes LPO (p > 0.05), plasma Cp (p > 0.05) and Zn (p > 0.05) levels were not changed, but Cu (p < 0.01) level and Cu/Zn (p < 0.01) rate were increased significantly. In stage III - IV compared to control group the level of erythrocytes LPO (p > 0.05) was not changed, however the levels of Cu (p < 0.01), Cp (p < 0.01) and Cu/Zn rate (p < 0.01) were increasing significantly, and Zn level (p < 0.02) was highly increased. When the stage I-II and stage III - IV are compared, only plasma Cu level (p < 0.05) meaningfully changed. As a consequently there was no meaningful change in the erythrocytes LPO; however, the noticible changes in the levels of plasma Cu, Cp Zn and Cu/Zn rate were detected.

Bu. çalışmada, epidermoid larinks konsinomlu 20 hastanın eritrositlerinde lipit peroksidasyonu (LPO), plazmalarında çinko (Zn), bakır (Cu) ve serupolpazmin (Cp) ölçümleri yapılarak, bunların seviyelerinde normal kişilere göre ve hastalığın evresine göre farklılık olup olmadığı Kontrol grubu ile karşılaştırıldığında; larinks kanserli hastalarda eritrosit LPO (p > 0.05) seviyesinin değişmediği; plazma Cu (p < 0.01), Cp (p < 0.01) seviyelerinin, Cu/Zn oranının (p < 0.01) yükseldiği; Zn (p < 0.05) seviyesinin düştüğü gözlendi Hastalar evre I - II ve III - IV olmak üzere 10\'ar kişilik 2 gruba ayrıldığında, kontrol grubuna göre evre l - ll\'de LPO (p > 0.05), Cp (p > 0.05) ve Zn (p > 0.05) değerlerinin değişmediği, Cu (p < 0.01) seviyesinin ve Cu/Zn oranının (p < O.01) önemli ölçüde arttığı bulundu. LPO (p > 0.05) değeri evre III - IV\'de de kontrol grubuna göre önemli bir farklılık göstermezken, Cu (p < 0.01) ve Cp (p < 0.01) değerleri Cu/Zn oranı (p < 0.01) önemli ölçüde yüksek, Zn (p < 0.02) seviyesi önemli ölçüde düşük bulundu. Evre l - II ve III - IVdeki hastalar karşılaştırıldığında; sadece Cu. (p < 0.05) seviyesinde anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edildi. Sonuç olarak larinks kanserinde eritrosillerdeki LPO\'da anlamlı değişikliklerin olmadığı, buna karşılık plazma Zn, Cu ve Cp seviyeleri ve Cu/Zn oranındaki değişikliklerin dikkat çekici olduğu tespit edildi.
