Rhinoplasty is considered to be one of the most demanding operations in facial plastic surgery. Open rhinoplasty uses the open or external approach via a mid-columellar and bilateral marginal incision. The external approach provides excellent exposure of the bony and cartilaginotis nasal vault, tip, septum, columella and anterior nasal spine. In combination with grafting procedures, such as columellar struts, dorsal grafis and tip grafts, open rhinoplasty has developed from a merely reductive to a more graduated approach to the nose. This retrospective study analyses our experience with 32 rhinoplasties over a 3 - year period. There were 12 women and 20 men. Twenty two (% 69) patients were having primary rhinoplast, l(%3) patient had undergone nasal surgery before and the remaining 9 (% 28) patients had had traumatic nose rhinoplasty. The study reveals open rhinoplasty to be a safe and reliable technique which produces predictable result.

Rinoplasti, yüz plastik cerrahisinde en çok talep edilen girişim olarak bilinmektedir. Açık teknik rinoplasti, midkolumellar ve bilateral marginal ensizyonlar ile yapılan eksternal bir yaklaşım şeklidir. Eksternal yaklaşım ile kemik ve kıkırdak burun çatısına, burun ucuna, septuma, kolumella ve anterior nazal spine mükemmel görüş sağlayan açık teknik rinoplasti operasyonu, günümüzde kolumellar strut, dorsal greft, tip greft gibi greft tekniklerinin de kullanılmasıyla bir düzeltme prosedürü olmaktan ziyade daha gelişmiş bir yaklaşım şekli durumuna gelmiştir. Bu retrospektif çalışmada 3 yıllık period içinde opere ettiğimiz 32 rinoplasti olgusunun değerlendirmesini yaptık. Olguların 12\'si kadın, 20\'si erkekti. 22 (% 69) olguya primer rinoplasti yapıldı, l (% 3) olgu daha önce opere edilmişti, geri kalan 9 (% 28} olgu ise travmatik burun rinoplastisiydi. Çalışmanın sonucunda, açık rinoplasti\'nin kabul edilebilir sonuçları olan emniyetli ve güvenilir bir teknik olduğu kanısına vardık.
