Paraneoplastic pemphigus (PNP) is a rare type of pemphigus which is seen in association with lymphoproliferative diseases, most commonly with non-Hodgkin\'s lymphoma and several other malignities. It has its own histopathologic features and immunfluorescence findings unlike the other types and has a poor prognosis . Mortality rates approach 90%. Causes of death include sepsis, with resultant multiorgan failure, and respiratory failure due to the direct effects of the disease on the respiratory tract epithelium. Painful erosions of the oral mucosa is common to all cases. Similar lesions may exist on other mucosal surfaces of the body. Skin lesions consist of in polymorphic pattern have different variants. The treatment of PNP includes both the treatment of underlying neoplasia and the autoimmune phenomena. In this present case report a rapidly progressing PNP case depending on non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma was discussed.

Paraneoplastik pemfigus (PNP), başta non-Hodgkin lenfoma olmak üzere diğer lenfoproliferatif hastalıklar ile birliktelik gösteren nadir bir pemfigus tipidir. Diğer pemfigus tiplerinden farklı olarak kendine özgü histopatolojik ve immünfloresan bulguları olup, kötü prognozludur. Mortalite oranı yaklaşık olarak %90’dır. Ölüm, hastalığın direkt yolla solunum yolları epitelini etkilemesi sonucu oluşan solunum yetmezliği, sepsis ve multiorgan yetmezliğine bağlı olarak meydana gelir. Oral mukozadaki ağrılı erozyonlar tüm olgularda görülür. Benzer lezyonlar vücuttaki diğer mukozal yüzeylerde de görülebilir. Polimorfik paternde olan cilt lezyonlarının ise farklı varyantları vardır. PNP’un tedavisi altta yatan neoplazinin ve otoimmun fenomenin birlikte tedavisini içerir. Bu olgu sunumunda non-Hodgkin lenfomaya bağlı olarak gelişen, hızlı seyirli bir PNP olgusu tartışılmıştır.
