ABSTRACT
This study, was institute d to determine the patience of the internal juguler vein following modified neck dissection., Postoperative color doppler USG was performed on 15 patients undergoing 16 vein sparing neck dissections. All 16 veins were patent postoperatively. Reduction of calibration was seen in only 1 vein. The factors associated with venous occlusion were also discussed.

ÖZET
Bu çalışmada modifiye boyun disseksiyonu yapılan hastaların post aperatif dönemde internal juguler ven açıklığı değerlendirildi. 15 hastanın post aperatif dönemde internal juguler ven açıklığı renkli doppler USG ile incelendi. Sadece 1 hastada ven kalibrasyonunda ve akımda azalma tespit edildi. İnternal juguler ven okluzyonuna sebep olan faktörler gözden geçirildi.
