ABSTRACT
Kaposi sarcoma is a malignity seen common with AIDS. Cutenous involvement is most common. It is a rare neoplasm. It can be seen anywhere in the body. The origin of Kaposi sarcomas cells remain unclear altough several hypothesis are issued. Kaposi sarcomas are treated by chemotherapy, radioterapy or combination threrapy depending on involved site and size of the tumor. Recently, it is thougt that it can be related to HSV. If it was true, then antiviral therapy may be an option. Kaposi sarcomas reported in the head and neck region, in oral cavity are very rare especially when seen on the tonsils. We present a Kaposi sarcoma case not related to HIV but probably related to HSV.
Vücudun her yerinde görülebilir.
